Fourth of July Vacation: Fish Lake

We took a long weekend and celebrated the 4th of July in Central Washington where it's warm and sunny.  Our days consisted of mountain biking, hiking, trail running, rock climbing, and kayaking.  I managed to sneak in some laying out and reading ;)

The days were long and relaxing.  We'd wake up and do some adventure then come home and cook out and hang out on the porch, watching the beautiful sunset and all the birds.  Throughout the five days we were there we saw: deer, tons of beautiful little birds, a river otter, osprey, cranes, a rattlesnake, chipmunks, and baby geese.  We also spent a little time in Leavenworth, WA, a Bavarian themed town about thirty minutes from our cabin.
