I've been busy with, well, life. I have also been a more avid poster on Instagram (@melaniemeidson --- check me out, I'm awesome!). Seriously though, if you want to see what's been going on - check out my posts and I'd love to follow you, too!
Looks like the last post was about Ashleigh Range. Good news is that she is fighting cancer and has a healthy baby! She is diagnosed with Stage 3, so that is an answer to a prayer that it's not Stage 4. Her blog is: http://myjourneywithibc.blogspot.com/ if you want to follow her progress. She is an amazing woman with in an incredible faith. Prior to that post, I left you in Bend, OR where I was hanging with the boys (Will & Jonas) for a long weekend.
In a nut-shell, here's what I've been up to since then ---
. Went home to AL with Gwen and then to FL for Sara Manning Kettle's wedding
Mom, Gwen and me getting beautified with our "green masks" |
Dad photo-bombed us... |
Jessica doing the "green mask" |
Viv getting pretty. She doesn't quite need the "green mask" yet but not long! |
The beautiful bride, Sara. Stunning! |
. Bought a cabin in Leavenworth, WA (and am there just about every weekend)
. Had 4th of July and Labor Day parties at said cabin
. Went to the Oregon Coast to a friends beach house and took a surfing lesson
. Hiked the Enchantments with my father-in-law, husband, and my dad
. Rock climbed, rock climbed, ran, hiked, rock climbed, ran
. Started a new role (still at Amazon, different department)
. Started drinking pumpkin beer b/c it's fall
. And turned another year older and celebrated another anniversary with Will (7 years)!
Ok, and there's the summer for you!
I guess that's about it.
Next up is fall/winter, here's what's on my plate ---
. Climbing in Vantage
. Girlfriends from out of town coming to the cabin for a long weekend
. Hiking the Grand Canyon
. Climbing at Red Rocks
. Whistler ski trip
. Work trip to Europe/Asia (maybe)
. Home to AL for Christmas
So apologies if it takes a while in between posts this fall, I'm gonna be busy so check me out on Instagram for more regular content.
